Team, need your help on this.

I put a S&W 45ACP revolver on layaway but I started changing mind.

I've got G19, Mil-spec 1911, several .38SP revolvers, & CZ-82.
45ACP revolver was going to be a companion to my 1911 but I'm not sure now.

CZ-82 is a toy gun.  Revolvers are house guns.  I don't carry any yet.
1911 is a range gun.
I do like G19 most and I'm most comfortable with shooting 9mm or .38SP out of heavy revolver.

I'm thinking about getting another 9mm but I'm not sure.
Always liked H&K cool factor but expensive mags & gun.
Leaning towards semi-auto & must be ambi setup.
Any suggestion?

Beretta 92 is a great gun for the money.  They can be had almost any day of the week for $500.  Mags are cheap and plentiful, they are accurate and reliable and make a great shtf gun for yourself or someone else you would like to arm.  Great gun IMO.

Stick to your guns - moonclips are awesome.

Where are you buying your mags from at that price?

BTW, the M&P 9 full size is an excellent pistol.

the 625 is a great revolver in both 45acp and 45LC.

imo, you are passing up a great revolver.

however, if youre stuck on 9s, then there are alot of 9s out there its just a matter of what YOU want.

i would head on over to your local fun shop and do some handling on whats on hand.  if there are any gun shows in the near future, i would do the same.

to make asking for what type of 9 to get is like asking what type of car to get.  just name one.

Since you already have a CZ, go ahead and buy a 85B Combat or SP01.

You have a desire for an HK, you want 9mm, and ambi controls are a must? That's easy! Look at the HK USP 9 in either full size or compact!

Having a variety or a collection is fun, there is no reason to buy anything other than you like it.

But If you are going to carry eventually and want to get serious, then choose the one that you like the best and can afford to shoot the most and get proficient with it. Based on that, I would say to ditch the 45 revolver  ( or go ahead and buy it) and get another G19 and a couple cases of ammo and train like you mean it. Then retire the 1911 and get another Glock for HD. After you've done that then decide on a back-up gun like maybe a j-frame. Buy two of them and practice with them.

After that, anything you buy is just for fun or hunting or to show off.

Why would buy the same guns?  Put a little variety into things buy something different.

I'm not made of money so when i buy another handgun it is going to be totally different from what i have already.

Nice collection but....

You need to add a 10mm to it.

Get a G20 or G29. You won't regret it (check the threads).

Nothing like it.

Wooo~  I'm not if I'm man enough to handle the 10mm's.
How's the recoil?  I've shot 44mag revolver and it stung hand palm.
I'm curious.

Edit: Oh, I will have a hard time feeding it though...  I'm a high volume shooter... Ammo wasting type

92, I got to try my hands fitting at fun shop.  My hands are small & I'm worried about the trigger finger reach.
I'm often told that trigger reach is a little challenge on this one.

I would love to get a M9A1 to add on my collection.

I would still get the 625.  If you think you have fun with your 1911, you will love the 625.  Even full house hard ball is an easy shoot in the big Smith.  Wadcutters or target loads are just up from a .22.  Not to mention more accurate out of the box than most 1911s.   You can shoot 45 Super with no changes.  Moon clips make for a fast reload, and they poly Rimz clips make loading and unloading at the range no big deal

My fav part, you can also shoot 45 AutoRim!  Here is a pic of my pet load, 255 gr running just under 900 fps.

If you've got small hands than you should consider trying some polymer framed pistols that have an adjusting backstrap to fine fit to your hands. Beretta's also makes the PX4 series which are very nice pistols.
