M&P. I wasn't a fan until my father brought one home for my mother for Mothers Day. I shot it suprisingly well. I'd like to try out a Pro one of these days.
If you already have an M&P in .357 I'd stick with M&P. I have a Glock 19 right now and would love to get a M&P |

There is a lot subjectivity in your choices. Glock 17 vs 19 is about handsize... I prefer the 17 but many are okay with the 19. YOU need to try them out. Of course the 19 is better for CCW but the 17 is better for range toy/competition/open carry because of weight and sight radius.
I imagine there is the same difference between the M&Ps. I don't own M&Ps, but if I was starting over in the pistol world I would give them a hard look. I voted Glock 19 because it is the universal answer to "which pistol" |

Had a Glock 19.
Just picked up an M&P9 http://www.ar15.com/forums/topic.html?b=5&f=4&t=77902 |

Just purchased one of those Austrian Proofed Glock 19s. I can not believe with all Glocks I have had over the years I had not had a 19 before now. It maybe because my dad had a 19 for years, or the fact that my first pistol a 26 was purchased during the ban. The 26 is gone now, as are the 22's. I was thinking of maybe going M&P9, but I did not want the fullsized or sub-compact sized pistols. I wanted the Perfect size that the 19 is.
If any Glock is perfection, it is absolutely the 19. (voted Glock 19) |

Congratulations army_eod, the G-17 RTF should be a great sidearm. Oh, in addition to the pics, we'll need a range report asap. |

Quoted: If any Glock is perfection, it is absolutely the 19. Not even close for me. The finger grooves on the compact Glocks are far too close together, and my pinkie rests right on the point of the last one. Every shot knocks my pinkie off the gun unless I just leave it off to begin with. On the other hand, the full sized Glocks fit nicely and are much easier for me to shoot well. Even the sub compacts fit my hands better than the compacts, the groove spacing is wider and using GAP's floorplate I get a far better grip on them than I do on a compact. |
