As big a fan as I am of the 1911, unreliable sig's are not the norm. Try posting your issues in the sig forum and I'm sure they will help you work out your issues.

Then go out and add a 1911 to your collection.

There is a reason that after almost 100 years and countless new models and makes of pistols, the 1911 still sells like hotcakes. You just found out why.

I've actually traded in my Springfield XDm for another 1911; I bought the XD and it is a great gun, but after months and months of shooting my 1911 exclusively I couldn't get past the trigger on a non-1911 style pistol. Such a great weapon with a deep and rich history; once that bug bites you there isn't much of a cure!

I just have 1911's.
My .22 is a Ruger .22/.45 for when I am feeling thrifty.
Bought the kids 1911's, you get the idea.
