I'm posting here in hopes of a broader audience than I'd get on the Glock board.
I am looking at a G21 purchase, but would also like to play in the .40/10mm realm. I would rather not drop another $500 for a G20, so would lke to know if anyone here has experience with a .400 CorBon conversion. As it is, high-end 10mm is pretty much a "boutique" ammo (like Double Tap) or handloading proposition, so it's OK with me for the conversion to be in a less-common round. My plans are to drop in a 6-7" barrel and strap on an optic for feral porker and canid shoots. Any experience with this (especially feed reliability in std G21 .45ACP mags with the CorBon round) would be much appreciated. |

Thanks to all. Have to say I think a G20 slide, mags, and a 10mm barrel sound much better. I will still opt for an aftermarket barrel because i want the 6-7" length for higher velocity; otherwise this should be the ticket.
ETA: Could you swap G20 followers into G21 mags and use existing bodies and springs? |

The ejector is different too, I would reccomend IMing COSteve he has a pretty custom G21 with a long slide and a 10mm conversion bbl. The ejector is the same. Same part number, SP08203. You literally field strip, replace the slide and barrel, and insert the other mag. If you really wanted to put all your eggs in one basket, so to speak, you could get an AA conversion kit for it too .
