Just need to know if this is a good deal or not, I think it is, but wanted some second opinions.
Its this gun, used, about 200 rounds through it, he's asking $650, thinking of offering $600.

you can buy a springfield new for less and they will out shoot the smith. i own both .

How is the Smith with its external extractor? Any reliability issues with the Smith?

If you can, check the S/N against the recall that S&W had in the past. If it's not included, then I'd say it's worth $600.

they are VERY reliable...unlike the ones from kimber

the only problems i'm aware of on the smiths are some of the older ones did have som external extractor problems and the plunger tube not being staked in properly
SW has since fixed those i believe and thier CS is tops
