I am open to anything Sig makes, also like M&P and XD

I love 1911's but right now I want something a bit more plastic.

I currently have my fair share of Glocks, would a G21 be worth it or should I try for the others listed above?

P220

If you are worried about the price there are alot of great condition refurbished and used sigs that are closer to the price of a polymer pistol. My P220 fits my hand excellently, points well, accurate, and utterly reliable. cant ask for more

I might change that around a bit...I'm about to pick up a G21SF, but I'm selling my 220s, and the M&Ps aren't going anywhere

I like the Glock 30 or 30SF bettter than the 21. It is much easier to carry for me. And it shoots great.

I recently picked up the G21SF and a couple of the Kriss Super V 32 round mags....Incredible.

Even without the uber mags the G21SF shoots like a 9, it is balanced, smooth and true.

I'm really amazed by this and I expected a lot from Glock, owning a few others already.

If this were GD I'd expect a huge number of votes in favor of the Croatian HS 2000 manufactured by HS Produkt; otherwise known as the Springfield Armory XD.

Since this a technical forum I believe the vote will fall between the Glock and the M&P.

My pick would be the M&P.

No 1911 in the voting options?

And, yes, I did see your original topic about the 1911.

That being said, I'm leaning toward the M&P series.

I have a Glock 21 and a 4" XD45.  I love them both.  I'm a glock nerd so of course I love my glock.  But, the XD is such a nice, perfect package of size, power and capacity that you can't ignore it.  The grip isn't much bigger than the XD9, the size is just ideal and it's super reliable and accurate.  My opinion, the XD45 is thee one to have.

I have an M&P .45 that I absolutely love.  It hasn't ever had a hiccup of any kind and shoots exactly where I point it.

I've introduced many people to shooting with the M&P and a G21, but they've all universally liked the M&P more.

I have an XD subcompact in 9mm, but, for the full-size, I really prefer the M&P over the XD.  It is a much more comfortable pistol to hold, for me.

Your poll lacks a G30 or "Other" option.

I tried a G21 and hated it. I tried a G30 and bought one a week later.

I also really like shooting the Sig P220 and will probably acquire one eventually.

Sig P220.  Find a factory reconditioned model, add the .22 conversion kit and you have 2 guns for the price of one.  Just bought a reconditioned P220/45ACP ($539) and the .22 kit ($329).  Local dealer price on a new P220 (.45ACP) was $849.

Well I was trying to keep it to my options I was looking at, I do like the 30, but if I'm looking for a Glock, it will be full-size.... I will take your 30 vote as a 21 vote

XD45 COMPACT.

As Concealable a .45 as you'll ever find, and with the extended Grip/magazine, just as at home as a full-sized pistol.

Wow...not one vote for the HK USP? I sure love mine, over all of my others. I love my SA stainless 1911, but for every day carry, I'll take the HK any day. Best shooting, most comfortable pistol I've ever owned.

If the USP were on the list, I'd take it hands down.  I love my M&P, but my buddy's USP is awesome.  I love shooting almost as much as I love shooting my Nighthawk.

The USP 45s are great pistols, but the fullsize never really fit my hands. It's so damn big. The fullsize M&P45 fits me a lot better, thus, I like it better.
