I have a Gen 2 Glock 19 and a 1911 with no rail, but I want to add a light to either one or both. What solutions do I have for this?
I have seen some adapter from Novak and other companies, and I could have swore there was a company that made a weapon light that didn't need a rail, if so who makes it? |

The older surefire lights had a set up for for non railed pistols. I think it was a model 617. I don't remember the model #. I have seen them on ebay in the past few weeks. The one for the 1911 went for over $200.00 You can also add a rail to your 1911. There are several companys that make the rail.
