| Hello, I'm new to these forums, so not sure how this works but here goes; I've got several cz's and all are great but my p01 does not accept my other mags, which are from 85 and 75, 16rnd mags. I called and e-mailed cz usa but no response. What I did notice is theres a knob or lip on the slide catch that doesn't extend (interior) as much as on the 75/85 models and the mag catch holes are a little different from 16rnd to the 14rnd. Even the 10rnd compact mags work but not the 10rnd mags for the full size. From non-compact mags I can cycle first round, fire and the second wont cycle out of mag. Anybody else have this problem or have any solutions? I'd like to be able to use my other mags in case I had to. Thanks in advance |

You would probably get a better response in the CZ forum. Just click on the "handgun" forum and then scroll down to CZ and ask your question there. eerw will more than likely know the answer as he has helped me out quite a bit.
As far as I know...the mags a different in that the mag catch holes, as you described them, are different and therefore will not work correctly. However are the mags that you are talking about Pre-B model mags? Such as the original CZ75 mags? If they are, then that's the problem. You can find mags in/around the $21-$24 range at several places. |
