Anyone have experience with this model? I can find a lot of feedback on the Witness Elite Match but not the Stock model. Specifically I was wondering what your thoughts are on the fit and finish and the trigger. I have read about the large size and heavy weight but this would be a heavy use range pistol so that wouldn't be a concern of mine. |

Well the limited gave me a better accuracy using a full tapered heavy coned barrel, fully adjustable trigger. The full dust shroud is kick ass. Slide feel like it rides on bearings. At 25 yards my limited cut my groups in half compared the stock. Just a better gun for what I use it for. Hell I qualified with it during tac training and shot better then the boys with $2000 1911's. I just tried to see if I could. I actually use my USP40 for carry. But you won't be disappointed with either one.

Did you break it? I did mine.. 3 times... No, possibly because I upped the recoil spring by several lbs based on recommendations by owners such as yourself. I also didn't shoot it too much, maybe 100rds total. I was HUGELY disappointed in the performance in the Witness 10mm after a while. |

I've got a .45 witness that I love, and a 10mm witness was on my short list (limited). If you just didn't like the witness platform that's no big deal, but if it's specifically the 10mm version where the problem lies I'd like to hear about it. |

I think those people complaing about the Witness and suggesting the CZ are referring to the base model guns. I own a lot of CZs and several "Elite Stock" Witness/Tanfoglios. There is no comparison, the Witness pistols are much nicer guns. I have one in 10mm and one in .38Super. The both shoot circles around my $3K+ 1911s.

I'm familar with CZ guns. I've shot the 40P and the 75BD. They are great guns, I've always wanted to a CZ-75B in glossy blue but they are impossible to find.
The Witness Stock seemed interesting because of the upgraded features and hard chrome happens to be my favorite finish for looks and durability. Any more feedback on the EAA Witness Elite Stock? |

The only other 10mm I own are the two Bren Tens, which are not fired. Not a plastic fantastic fan so the Glocks are out. I am on the list for the new Fortis if it shows. |
