Well I need a lil help picking my x-mas gift Currently I carry a FN Five Seven but i like it to much to carry and beat up on :O) so im looking at a replacement carry I like the cz 75 sp-01 & The Springield xdm in 9mm two tone in black and stainless. Any suggestion both have a 19+1 capacity the problem is i like them both. I have shot both of them and grr I just cant decide. ANYONE WANA HELP ME OUT ON THIS ON |

It all depends on what you want to do with it. The SP-01 will be a little heavier and bigger than the XDm but is a better pistol in my opinion. One's steel and one's polymer so you are talking about two totally different things here and that will be hard to compare.
Having owned an XD and owning 3 CZ's I can tell you that I truly like the CZ's a lot better. Better accuracy and better trigger. It also depends on if you want a safety or no safety, hammer fired vs. striker, decocker or SAO etc... If you are looking to carry I would suggest the CZ P-01 or variant of. That is what I use for my main carry gun and it's smaller and lighter than the SP-01 full size but will be compareable to the xdm. |

So as for carry you think the cz is the best bet. I do like the weight to it. And I cant argue that it shoots alot nicer the the xd. Hmm Plus I saw as funny is at is a bayonette for the sp-01 lol. That is just comical if you ask me The P-01 would be the best bet or a variant of one of the 75 compacts. I think, unless your a big guy, that the SP-01 might be to big to carry concealed. I haven't tried carrying my SP-01 concealed yet but since it is getting cold out I might have to give it a try. |
