Pretty new gun, only fired about 600 or so shots.

Its a Kimber Aegis II

Maybe, when I bought it I figured it would be my everyday carry since it is so small... Although I would hate to have it stolen if left in my car or something.

I just carry a Glock 27 that's been beaten to death so I won't cry if something happens to it.

At least wait until you have the new gun to see if it works for you. You may not like the new one.
