If you are looking to get a good deal buy used.........The VAST majority of gun owners don't put nearly the amount of rounds through a firearm that they could handle.  And, Glocks wear quite well in my experience.

$550-$500 in MS

Correct...and if your looking for a shooter and not a beauty queen.
you can get a police turn in and cut that 500 almost by a third if not more.
I picked up a G21 for 360.00 (with night sights) at our police Distributor. (this is a place where law enforcement turn in old duty pistols and they sell them to the public **imagine that**) .
Our place constantly sell glock 22's for under 300. They are worn but not even close to being even broke in let alone worn out.
The wear is mostly from being in a holster. The feed ramp of my G21 still had the ramp grooves on it.
For a G19 you got to be lucky enough to be there when they come in. The stay in the store long enough to log them in.
I posted photos...I know you are not interested in Beretta but it's an example of the quality you can get from these places. I picked the 92f for 300 from the same place.
Good luck on your hunt.

I bought my OD G19 from TopGlock.com a few months back for $459.00.  After shipping and a $25 FFL charge, I think I have a little under $500 bucks in it.

I will third this.  Any reputable-brand firearm will likely outlive the owner unless you are busting a thousand caps a month.  And if you do, most manufacturers will fix a gun up for a reasonable price (SigArms for example).

A local shop has NIB Glock 19 for 399 w/ 3 mags. I'm not familiar with glocks but this seemed like a good price...Only thing is it said LAW ENFORCEMENT ONLY on the price tag....I wonder if thats the LEO price? I figured they were saying the glock was marked LEO only. I'll have to go back and check it out

I agree.  $449 plus tax for a G19 without nite sights. They run $500 plus tax with nite sights. I doubt if you will  beat these prices for a new Glock. However, search the EE here and Glocktalk.com and you might get lucky on a used Glock.

Good luck mate.

For Reference:
This is the LEO/MIL discount offered by Glock. You must provide credentials for military or law enforcement service to be eligible for this discount. If you think you qualify, call Glock and ask for their LEO Distribution Representative. They can give you a legit dealer in your area and you can take a BNIB Glock home with you, with 3 mags for about $398. Depends on the model, sights etc. Still, well below market value.

Just thought I'd share. I'll be taking advantage of this quite often. $400 for a NIB handgun. Woah.

Around here (at the last show) they only had 2 19s, one was $550, the other $509, no night sights on either. The guy told me 9mms are getting hard to get ahold of (maybe because of high ammo prices?). FYI, the ONLY G17 at the show was $599. The cheapest used G19 I've ever seen (in person, as opposed to on the web, where I'd have to pay shipping and transfer fees) was $330 at a pawn shop.

I'm pretty sure another dealer in town here sells NEW G19s for $489, but that was a few months ago, seems prices are climbing.(fast)
