I'm going to a local gun show tomorrow. Should I bring cash if I plan on buying a gun? I've never been, but usually cash at these type events is the best way to get a good deal. right?

Thanks

Cash is good.

If you see a gun for $500 sometimes you can say 'All I got is $450, will you take that for <whatever gun>' and if the dealer is hard up for cash he will do it. Doesn't work so great for credit cards.

Cash is always king.  Whatever you do, don't buy the very first thing you see.   Instead, walk around a few times to take it all in.  Odds are you'll see the same gun on several tables varying in price.  And always offer less, most times you'll get a better deal.  Good luck

Absolutely.  I've seen the exact same gun for 3 different prices at the same show.  Pays to check it all out first.

Another thing I've noticed is that the best deals are sometimes had towards the very end of the show.  Folks are just about to pack up, wanting to get that last sale in, they're more flexible.  It's worked for me.

Best deals are right when the show opens and right when the show closes.  Bring cash, put it in several pockets.
