I picked up a Gen 2 Glock 20 (10mm) for really cheap today.

It was really crudded up, and I was having doubts that it was worth what I paid for it, but I took it home and gave it a good once over with a stiff brush, and as detailed a cleaning as I could, and she cleaned up beautifully.

So I guess she is a keeper.

Anyhow, the only things I think I am going to do is replace the magazine, replace the recoil spring (ordering online) and I am thinking of replacing the trigger.

I think it's kinda worn out.  The gun shoots just fine,  however you know when you disassemble a Glock you pull the trigger on an empty chamber, and all the glocks I have the trigger stays pressed back.

However on this one, it kinda goes back forward again, like it does not "lock back" like my other glocks.

Since this is my only Gen 2 Glock, I have two questions... first one is, is that normal for a Gen 2 glock?

Second question is, if I wanted to replace the trigger assembly with a new stock trigger assembly, how hard is this?  Is this something I can do myself, or is this something I should let a glock armorer do?

complete disassembly here:www.alpharubicon.com/mrpoyz/glock/

its real easy, no armorer required imo; YMMV

my 2nd gen triggers function as my 3rd gens do--no forward play/reset w/out slide manipulation

sounds like your trigger spring/bar are worn
