Looked at one in .32 and it looked like a fun toy.  Anyone ever own one?

It's a commercial post war knockoff made by erma. They look pretty cool and are made in: .22, .32 and .380.

Don't know anything about them but would like to know..

I had a .22 version. It was a neat looking copy, but it jammed quite a bit. I chalked that up to the toggle action and the .22LR not being a good combo. This was quite a few years ago, before the modern hyper velocity rounds which might have given it more oomph to function. I would imagine a .32ACP might work a little better, but that's only a guess.

I have one in .22, but I have problems with it jamming also. Mine is marked Stoeger but I believe that it is a Erma built pistol.

Never seen one in .32 so can't help you there.

The only gun I ever sold.

Was a 22 and was always going off by it self.  Yes by it self.  Once was sitting on the table no one in the room.

When it was not doing that it was jammed.

I liked the looks feel everything else but not safe.

Traded it for a bike (10-speed) I was 16 at the time, many moons ago.

I still feel guilty for selling it.

God help me.  I know it hurt someone.

Don't do it.

I had one in 380 ACP.

It was a hoot to shoot, nearly vertical ejection with some cases landing on my head… Didn't hurt, but I can't hit anything while I am laughing!

Very accurate! (if your not laughing)

Friend had one in 22 many years ago.  Finicky, unreliable, and not much fun to play with.  Rarely see them anymore and I suspect there is a reason for that.

Most .22's are that way…

The Erma is not to be confused with the cheap Stoeger .22!!! They were a cheap, cheap .22 that mostly looked like a Luger.

I was gifted a erma .22 years ago. It would slam fire, occasionally emptying the mag. It lives it life in parts now.
