I don't understand what the big deal is about that little gun! I handled one at my local shop and it didn't really feel all that great. It was ok but not great like I have been reading. The sight are a little small, and it didn't really sit that good in my hand. You would think for $1k the think would feel a little more natural in the hand. Hell the compact XD, S&W M&P 9c, baby glocks, CZ 2075 rami feel much better in the hand and have a better pointabilty . And all for over half the cost. I have also been reading about a lot of reliably issues with the little gun. I guess I just don't get it . Since the first time I heard about the EMP I was telling my self the first time I see one I am buying it.....Wow was I disappointed when I handled it. Just don't know what all the fuss is about?

I don't like buying the first year of anything.  Teething issues.

Ergonomics are highly subjective, but that said...

I don't get it either.

I don't think it's substantially smaller than any other 3" 1911. The grip is a little shorter front-to-back. Big deal.

Star made a truly compact 9mm 1911, and you can pick them up for about $200.

I was not impressed until I shot it. That design in 9mm shoots very nice.

It made me reconsider .45 altogether. If it weren't so damn pricey, I'd have one already.

Don't get me wrong. I love my 5" 1911 in .45 and will always keep several but the smaller size and less recoil were a nice change of pace.

Just my 2 cents.

I was all set crazy to buy one two till I fondled one at the fun show. The ambi-safety makes it print as does the mag well. I passed when I saw the price.

So my brother-in-law went crazy and bought it. He loves it. I do have to admit that it is super accurate for such a little peice.

Only one BIG problem. When my brother-in-law tried using some reloads that were not resized properly (they did not resize the whole length of the cartridge), the gun jammed. THERE WAS NO WAY TO GET IT APART OR THE SLIDE BACK to empty the round!!! He finally had to take a rod to it and pound it out on a LIVE ROUND till he got the slide opened. Not good! He stopped using reloads on it and never had a poblem with it again.
