I was looking at the pistols in the new G+A magazine and see it. Looks very nice. anyone know anything about it? |

I'm anxiously awaiting the FNP-45 too. I read the thread at FN Forum about it, and they're heard both November and December for when they might be available for purchase. The FN reps at the NRA convention told me August, but that obviously didn't happen. In August, I heard they'd be available in October, but since there's only a few days of October left, that's probably not going to happen either. I guess I'll hope that they do finally come out in November or December like the guys at the FN Forum have heard. |
Do you make that claim based on personal experience or speculation? The pics I've seen don't appear to show a huge grip. Maybe FN finally figured out how to make a double stack .45 comfortable? MJD |
Springfield did with the XD...let's hope FN can pull it off, too. I'd like both an FNP-9 and an FNP-45. |

I tried a Glock 21 at my range. I have small hands. I have to move my hands around on the grip alot to reach stuff. I loved shooting it. Great sights and very accurate. Trigger was OK too. But reaching for the mag release and slide release was a stretch for my small and arthritic hands. I bought an XD instead. It just allows for a better reach to things and is better for small hands. For palming a basketball? Nah. But a volleyball maybe!

Well, I have large hands, and I can palm a basketball. FN brought 2 FNP-45s with them to the NRA convention here in St. Louis back in April. With my large hands, I was able to handle the FNP-45 just fine so I'm not at all worried about it being too big for me. |

Well, FN has someone who takes questions (at the Fn Forum) and answers them approx 2x a month. U can ask if you wish. COme to the FN Forum! fnforum.net |
personal experience. I have medium sized hands, and it is too large for me.
Really? What is your source for that information? I don't believe that is true. The JSOC trials were cancelled and no decision has been made as of yet if and when to hold them that I have heard. |
