It is in backwards! This is an M&P so I don't think that a round like that would cause a jam. ![]() I'll stay with my XD45! |

The MP45 I saw at my local gunshop also had a TERRIBLE finish. It looked like the gun had already seen atleast a few hundred draws from a holster. I asked the salesman what was going on and he simply said "who knows, thats what it looked like this morning when I opened it up to check it out". I thought it was a fluke, but I've heard that the finish looks like shit on a good majority of them. Oh well. It felt ok. Won't buy one though, better options for me are available...and already in my safe. |
I didn't know Kel-tec made a .45 ![]() What is up with the horrible slide/frame transition? It looks like it was cut with a dremel tool. I would send it back with a laundry list of complaints and hope they offer your money back. BTW, is that mag misnumbered on the back? It looks like the "10" round is higher than the "9". Weird. |

I got one on last week. The finish on mine seems ok and had no malfunctions with either Magtech or Federal .45 that I had. Shot about 200 rounds and decided that it needs to go to Dan Burwell for his $50 trigger job. The reset aint bad but the pull must be like 8-10 lbs. Still better than my experience with the XD. Mine broke the first day I had it. I know they are supposed to be good guns but it was the 2nd XD I bought and they both had to go back for full credit. Accuracy is typical for a production DAO pistol in this price range. Probably a keeper. Edited to add ergonomically much better than the Glock, XD or HK in a full size .45 |
