What features are recommended on a timer?
What are the best models available?
Can they be used with a 22 LR?
How much do the good ones cost?

Thanks

I use a pocket pro II timer.

You can turn down the sensitivity but i dont know how well it would work.

I have the PACT MK IV.

I went with it because I also want to use it for the chrono feature as well.

Life time warranty and all that.  As well as par time, count down, first shot and split times.

I can't think of a timer that is not.

The problems is the lighter you have the timer set for sound the higher the chance you will pick up false readings.

It is but you have to open it up and turn a little adjustment pot inside. However you should not have to adjust it between a 22 LR and a 45 ACP. Mine will pick up just about any rim fire rifle all the way up to my comped 16" 308's.
