I just saw one today. Before today I didn't know they existed. I am waiting to read tests and reviews of it before stating... I WANT ONE!!! Anyone have any knowledge they wish to impart? |
|
I remember seeing an ad for them in a gun magazine over a year ago. I figured Kimber just forgot to releas this pistol or something. Maybe they had a lot of problems with it that they had to figure out before they released it. I thought it was ugly but then again, Glocks are ugly. Maybe it will show some promise. ETA: Whare did you see it? |
It's now on Kimber's website, along with a sentence that says they plan on a 9mm version as well. http://www.kimberamerica.com/kpd/ impactguns.com is accepting preorders for them at $415.99 and I spotted one other website accepting orders for them but no longer remember which one. |

Yes, its been so long since they were first shown (in 2005) that I wondered if they had changed their mind... Visit: ps90forum.com |
Hay Ship, this gun also had me wondering if Kimber was trying to copy the P99. It kinda looks simular. |
I don't think so. To me, it looks more like a cross between a S&W M&P and a Steyr. I don't see any connection to the visual looks of a P99.... Visit: ps90forum.com |
| I thought it looked more like the p99 than the M&P or Styre. Maybe I need to look at the pictures again.h.gif |
Right. More the features and size I'd be wanting to buy if I added another polymer framed handgun to go with my full sized 1911. I like that it is small and 9mm. It's smaller than a G26 in most respects and lighter and I trust Wilson Combat to back it up with customer service and such. |
HAHA!! I hadn't thought of that. Email them that info as well. |

For me, that gun doesn't even have the slightest bit of interest for me... But they need something to compete with Springfield's XD. Visit: ps90forum.com |
