saw a sig today that was "factory reconditioned"

it cost more than all of the other used sigs,

what is the complete process of "factory reconditioning"

why (if it does) add value to a used gun?

thanks

They put new grips on and rub it down with shoe polish.  Seriously, I'm not sure what they do at the factory.

my guess if its like the HK 94's that were "factory reconditioned" all that is done is to make sure they are safe and function if not parts are replaced untill they are safe and function properly. 99% of the Hk94's that were reconditioned were not even cleaned well. But they were a great buy :)
