My Sig226R 40cal shoots to the left. It has factory installed night sights and I want to put the rear single dot sight back on. How do I do this? I was thinking of getting this but it looks like its made for the front sight. http://topgunsupply.com/Sight-adjust-install-tool-SIG-SAUER-pr-144.html |
Good point but this is my 3rd Sig and I haven't had any problems with sights or shooting. Nevertheless it couldn't hurt to let someone else try. |
I would seriously suggest letting someone else shoot the pistol. I see agents every week who have developed a bad habit in the time since their basic course. They come into my shop and want me to change the sights, or grips or trigger on their SIG's. A good 7 times out of 10 its them and not the pistol. But I do understand your desire for different sights. Since switching to a 229R I much prefer meperlights to the standard issue Trijicons since most of the time Im either shooting in the day, or have my X200 on the weapon. |
