For my Taurus .17 Tracker with 6 1/2 inch barrell, I already ordered the base mount from Taurus. It needs to be relativley cheap in cost but not be lacking in the durability department. Can you point me to some brands? And I will be needing a new holster for it once it has glass, so any recommendations on that would be helpful. |
I have one of these on a Ruger MkII and it's great. Good value for the money. As to the holster, I found someone local who made holsters and had one fit around the setup. You'll be without your revolver for a little while, so do it in the off season, but a custom fit holster is awful nice compared to most of the Uncle Mike's nylon, one size fits all, that you will find everywhere. |
