I was shooting a rented GLOCK 30 at a range the other day with reloaded ammo and it was doing the exact same thing. Seems to me that it was underloaded.

Don't know of any higher pressure 9mm loads though, I'm pretty much a .22 guy at this point.

Lugers were ment to shoot much hotter ammo than US commercial. some of the import stuff may work, you may have to try more than one kind.

Any experience with Fiocchi or Sellier and Bellot?

Why is it when I say this, I get the smackdown????

I think someone is jealous of my beauty.

Sorry for the hi-jack.....I concur with the Rifleman and others.  Try some peppier rounds.

I only shoot Fiocchi out of my Luger, but that's because mine's a .30cal and Fiocchi is about the only easy source for that stuff, so there's not much choice.

It does work 100% though and shoots pretty good.  Couldn't tell you about the 9mm though as I have no actual expereince in shooting a 9mm Luger.  Kinda strange now that I think about it.

ETA: Lugers rock in any caliber, so get your's running.  They're alot of fun and definately worth "cool points" at the range
