I'm looking for something to replace my Ruger  p95 as my home defense weapon.  I was looking at something in .45 that has rails for a taclight.  I'm currently considering a HK USP or USP compact, or a Glock.  Does Sig have a weapon with  rails?  I got tired of sifting through the crap on their website, so any suggestions are appreciated.

I have not seen rails on a SIG. I would get an H&K.

I will have to throw the Glock vote into this discussion.

SIG is starting to come out with rails on the P226 and I do believe the P220 is also in line to have railed frames produced.

I've seen pics of a stainless P220 with an M1913 rail.

I have also seen 1911s with the rail.  SA specifically comes to mind.

If you can find an HK USPf at a decent price and can handle the frame size, it is an excellent pistol for circumstances where CCW is not called for. I am not sure if the USP rails and Surefire light mounts are directly compatible so that you could put it on / take it off quickly or not, though. There is, of course, the HK light also.

I saw the stainless P220 with rails at the Fun Show last weekend. I just stood over the 220s for 20 minutes, wishing I had one.
I'm saving.
SIG is the way to go.
