Just picked up a XD9 sub-compact that I plan on using for CCW and need some advice on what are some good holsters to use for it.  I've never CCW'd before so I know nothing about it.  What do you guys suggest?

I have a G-code Comfort Carry IWB for my XD9SC.  I find it very comfortable, and I like the adjustable tension feature.  I don't particularly like the nylon belt straps and notice they are pretty noticable through a pretty thin shirt.  It's also not easily tuckable, if it's tuckable at all, I've never tried.

I plan on moving to the CTAC IWB before too long, as it's tuckable and is available with clips that aren't very noticable at all.

You can find both at www.gunnersalley.com

Comp-Tac makes great products.  Look into the C-TAC for IWB carry.  I have been carrying a Glock 19 in mine for over a year and a half every single day.  I love it!

I carried an XD sub for about a year and tried several holsters before deciding that the CTAC is the best.

I spent about $400 on holsters until I found this one. I can conceal my XD-9 with a tucked in t-shirt... I'm 145lbs 5'-8.5"

I've warn this setup for up to 10 hours a day, sitting, standing, driving, very confortable and concealable!

They are also hand made in the US!!!!

The CTAC costs less and works just as well.
