I've been looking for a wheelgun in .22LR for my son for christmas. We set up shot shotgun shells in the backyard and have fun shooting them. He's finally caught up to me shooting a rifle while I shoot a MKII. It's time to even things up again hence the revolver. I've considered the Ruger single action revolvers, but the Taurus Tracker is priced right. Anybody have experience with these and how accurate they are?

I had a Taurus Raging Bee in .218  ---- A similar gun to the Tracker, also by Taurus.....
I sold my .218 just because i have a .22 SigArms Trailside pistol that is very accurate.
The .218 was a great gun though...... Great for plinking in the backyard...... I mounted a Weaver scope on it and had it all dialed in.  The Tracker is also a great target gun...... For the price you can't go wrong...... They are very nice.

Was it finicky on ammo or would it shoot anything good? What kind of scope mount did you use?

The .218 wasn't picky on ammo at all... It would shoot any brand the same as any other...
Had the weaver scope mounted on a taurus scope moutn with weaver scope rings (1 inch)...
It was a nice package....
