I recently picked up a short bbl Hi-Standard Model B .22 pistol.  After looking it over, I realized it has what appears to be an early serial number. (69XXX)

I'm wondering where I might find more info on exactly how old it is, what it's worth might be to the average buyer, etc.  I got an insanely good deal on it, but have no clue what it's value actually is and I can't seem to find any reliable prices for it online.  Any help would be appreciated (especially a rough estimate of its age)

Thanks in advance!

Due to it's status as a "Way COOL" gun, the HS Model 10-A and 10-B are now collectible guns with correspondingly high prices.

I know of no source for determining the age, and value depends on where you buy one.

Here's online gun sales links to up for sale Model 10's:
www.gunbroker.com/Auction/ViewItem.asp?Item=39342960

www.gunsamerica.com/guns/976645216.htm

Most prices today are going to be high, due to the demand and the internet gun auctions where things like this usually bring scalpers prices.

SUP DFARIS!!

You still at gunsnet?  Haven't heard from you in years man!

Anyhow, thanks for the bit of info.  Although the gun I'm referring to, is a .22lr pistol.  This particular model is the one that very closely resembles the Colt Woodsman of early day.  Same design as most 22 semi auto pistols.

Well, I flat blew that one.

I'd just been doing some posting on the shotgun forum, and just didn't enough pay attention.

I've been around pretty steadily, haven't gone anywhere except for the last few weeks when we had an ISP outage.
