Just bought a Kimber Warrior.  Would like to mount a light or light/laser combination on it.  If possible, it might be nice if the light could also be used on my AR if I ever thought that was a good idea.  I don't really forsee that happening, but the flexibility makes the purchase easier to justify in my head.

The warrior will be primarily a nightstand piece, and the use of the light would be the typical home-invader scenario.

I've done a couple hours of research here and elsewhere, but I haven't seen much in the way of advice based on actual experience.   Maybe my search terms stink.

Advice, experience, opinions and links to appropriate threads will be appreciated.

I use a streamlight/insight M3X.  Any light that will click on to your warrior will click on to your AR M1913 rail.

If i had a lot of money i'd take a look at the surefire X200B

At this time the Surefire X200 looks to be the best available.

Anyone ever used both the X200A and X200B?  I lean towards the A because it would be more suitable on the AR. but don't want to make a dumb purchase is the B is really the right choice for the primary use.

With additional reading elsewhere, I decided to buy the X200A.

After shopping for two hours on the net, I got a price back from "briteflashlights" over in the industry section.  Not only did he have one in stock (something I found unusual), but his price was 25% lower than the next closest  supplier who actually had one in stock!  He was about 17% lower than the very best price I found anywhere, regardless of whether they had one available.       Within two hours of placing my order, I got a message from the shipping company that it was on the way.

In a world filled with mediocre service, it's extremely refreshing to run into someone like this.
