The .32 S&W is great for that. If you fire these in a revolver chambered for the .32 S&W Long, the accuracy should be fair, and bullet velocity may suffer but a minuscule amount. You can load up the .32 S&W to "gallery" levels with 1 grain of Bullseye for entertainment purposes. Moles, voles, and pesky garden critters will hate you.

I just picked up an LCR in .327 Fed Mag.   Going to try to shoot it this week with some .32 H&R Mag reloads I have sitting around.

I have never had a revolver jam in 45 years of shooting them. Can't say the same about semi-autos.

My understanding is that with proper maintenance and good ammunition that it really shouldn't occur (please correct me if I'm wrong). I was just pointing out that when a jam occurs, it is a bad jam. Most semi-autos are relatively fast to unjam (size is usually more of the issue than the actual malfunction).

Once again, I'm not down on revolvers (funny enough I'm rather excited about getting my new SP101), just pointing out that they are not immune to jams.

No thanks.   A hammerless 44 special like the old model 296 would be nice.

I've had it happen more than once.  Seen it happen quite a few times when I worked at a range.   Had the ejector rod unscrew on one which tied it up.   Seen quite a few which pulled the bullets under recoil enough to jam the cylinder.  None of them were fixable w/ a tap/rap/bang type fix.    They were done until someone could look at them and fix them and generally required tools even if it's just a screwdriver or pliers.

I’m a sucker for airweight revolvers. Just bought a 329PD and it’s a hoot. Been bidding on a rare 357PD in .41 Mag on GB but it’s going to exceed what I’m willing to pay soon.

I've got several of the airweight style revolvers.   Had a 637 for decades.   Have one of their 22 Kit guns w/ I believe it's a 3" barrel which feels like a toy gun.  Got a 329PD a year or so ago.  They're awesome.  Esp the 22.  It actually has felt recoil.    Not much but you can feel it.  A friend said that he thought you could attach it to a balloon and it would float away.

I may be replacing the front sight blade, since it seems to shoot about 3" high at 10 yards with 32 H&R.    I don't have any .327 Fed ammo and I might never have any.

I personally love the .327 and versatility of it.  Really like the LCR's in it too, wish Ruger would make the 327's in the LCR 3" or even 4".  LCR 4"ers could be Rugers answer to the Mountain Gun.
BTW check out this new Ruger, 13.5oz.  S&W 632UC, 16.3oz.

At least 13 handguns are being chambered for the .32 H&R Magnum cartridge:

2 S&W revolvers; 4 Charter Arms revolvers; 2 Taurus revolvers, and 5 Ruger variations.

So there!

I'm kinda surprised Kimber hasn't offered any caliber variants yet.

Also depends on the gun.  Fired several cylinders of .32 ACP 85gr XTP, .32 S&W Long 90gr LSWC and lite and full +P .32 H&R Magnum 90 gr LSWC on paper and steel this afternoon

The .327 Mag gods took pity on me this week, ran across this fresh trade-in GP100 in a local shop.  $699 was well within "don't even have to think about it" range.  First .327 bigger than an LCR or Taurus snubbie that I've seen yet in person.

Quite a few cool revolvers could exist from S&W that don't.

Ultimate carry J-frames chambered in .357 Mag and 327 Mag and (very important here) cut for moonclips.  Moonclips are invaluable and aren't just speed loaders, they're speed unloaders.

I'd like to see more L frame love.  For instance, a six shot .40/10mm L-frame.  Why not?  An 8 shot L-frame 327 Federal and more variations of the 5-shot L-frame Model 69 44 Magnum...Like a nicer finish, even a blued one, all sorts of things.

@Combat_Diver:

I think it was you I was talking to about .32 Single Sixes a while back.  Or it was Osprey or 0R3N....

Annnyhowww...

I didn't get one.

I GOT TWO! ( at an Estate Sale I was invited to )

What incredible revolvers.

I am becoming a complete .32 nut.

A lot of it has to do with the fact that mid and full sized .32 guns are something my girlfriend can run effectively.  She is VERY petite.  Turns out I have been enjoying them as "warm up guns" that I prefer to .22LR.

Here they are.  The Vaquero looking one is my Girlfriend's.  The one with the sexy Mother of Pearl sissy grips is mine:

All HAIL the .32 Reeevolver,!!!!

For the OP:

As much as Airweights seem great....those are the guns I see that have problems moreso than steel guns.  I often think it is the bean counters that are fucking things up, not necessarily the engineering department.  I think Engineering and Manufacturing are being hamstrung by being forced to use cheaper alloys and manufacturing methods allllll for the sake of PROFIT PROFIT PROFIT.  That being said....for a reallly lightweight reeevolver, I think the .32 SW, Colt NP, H&R Magnum and the .327 are outstanding rounds that give you both control and acceptable power levels that you can easily mitigate by simply picking one of those rounds.

Outstanding!  I recently ran some Remington.32 S&W ammo I picked up thru mine. What a hoot

Agree on the bean counters and the fact that their are fewer skilled revolver craftsmen left to fit the parts
