Attached File I don't mind grinding on a gun to make it better for me, but I try to make it clean, and I wish they'd have not textured that raised area and kept it smooth, only because it would help me modify it cleanly and give it a more factory look. |

My hand measures approximately 9 3/8" in circumference and 8" long. In order of grip comfort on common centerfire pistols, my top 5 are: 1. Hogue rubber Monogrip for a S&W K or L frame revolver 2. CZ-75 full size pistol with factory rubber grips, factory hard plastic grips, or G10 grips similar in style to CZ's competition pistol grips 3. SigSauer P226 factory hard plastic grips, or Hogue overmolded rubber grips 4. CZ-75 Compact with factory rubber grips, factory hard plastic grips, or G10 grips similar in style to CZ's competition pistol grips 5. Browning Hi-Power with factory checkered wood or checkered plastic grip panels. I tried the Navidrex but they were too thin Good luck with your search. |

The Sig X-Five is by far the most comfortable, soft shooting centerfire pistol in the safe. Most of the people that shoot it think the same. It is possibly Sig's best pistol ever. The new version isn't the same. I rented one and walked away disappointed. I had a chance to shoot a PDP Pro. That is an amazing feeling pistol.

In what regard are they not the same? No doubt the German X5's are nicer guns with better triggers but if we are just talking about feel/ergos of the frame... while they may not be 100% identical, I didn't feel any significant difference between them except for the weight (The German X5 frame I had was SS). |

One more vote for the DWX. Gun just sits right and does what I need it to do. The Lok grips are brutal though. Love them. Who needs some extra skin on their hands… The nubby bullet button trigger is perfect for my paws. 1 MOA donut/dot on top. 👌 Attached File |

| For me, it was my VP9s when I had them. Now, my M&Ps are the most 'comfortable '. That said, I still carry Glocks for duty and personal defense. Mostly because I am so heavily invested in the logistics of the platform. Had I been allowed to carry an M&P on duty when I began my career 16 years ago--and had amassed all those years worth of holsters, accessories, parts, and trigger time--then I would 100% be a monogamous M&P man now because I do find them slightly more enjoyable to shoot. |

I got mine just before he added the waiting list. If my grip didn't give me hammer bite, this would supplant my M&P Compact as most comfortable.

1911, I can still remember first time holding one as a kid, I was like I'll own one some day. Bought in to the plastic world, finally got one at 30 and haven't went back. I truly believe I'm from a diff time some times. Blued and walnut long guns, 1911, boots and jeans, and flannel and wool. The most natural feeling guns i have ever held are a garand and 1911, and didnt own either till after 30. edit....Ill add a 3rd to that...browning a5.. |

I have a few but the most comfortable is my Shadow Systems MR920. For me, the grip is slimmer than a Glock or other clones/copies along with the angle and beaver tail make it comfortable to shoot and hold. Attached File |
