This might be old news to some, but I will post it for the others:

WARNING!!!!!

Danger: A very serious and potentially life threatening situation has recently come to our attention. An aftermarket trigger distributed by GunAccessories.com defeats the firing pin safety in GLOCK pistols when it is installed. The vertical extension on a GLOCK trigger bar is in constant contact with the firing pin safety once this trigger is installed. If a loaded pistol is dropped, it will discharge without the trigger being pulled.

If you have installed this aftermarket part, immediately remove it from your pistol. If you know anyone else who has installed this trigger, please notify them immediately.

If this part is installed in your gun, it can discharge if the gun is dropped or jarred. Obviously this will lead to an unintentional discharge and may cause serious bodily injury to yourself or another.

Thanks LT. One gun I leave as is, dont mess with perfection. This happened years ago, some other company went out of business due to crappy parts.(forgot the name) Will print copies for gunshow today too.

I have a Lightning Strike aftermarket trigger in one of my 21's (aluminum trigger, very nice feel), this isn't the one you are talking about LT, is it?

Yes, why don't they name names? Surely gunaccessories.com isn't the only one selling these. I doubt that ga.com has their own Glock trigger marketed (over-priced....)?

I've heard an aftermarket trigger in a Glock (under 4 lbs.) is a legal liability anyway for CCW.

The release of this warning was Aug. 16, I just ran across it last nite. When I checked gunaccessories.com this morning, it looks like they have taken the product off their website.

Hielo, if you bought it from G.A. I would contact them and see if it is what was mentioned on Glocks website. It looks like G.A. have taken off all aftermarket triggers for Glock from thier website.

No, I got it from Brownells.

I will drop Glock a note and see if they have any specifics, failing that, I will load up a few primer only rounds and do some drop testing .

Thanks for the heads-up LT.  Even though I don't own one of those triggers, it's still nice to know.
