i went to the range tonight and the same thing happened tonight that does every other time i go. i shoot my HK USPC .45 and maybe once every mag or two i will take a casing to the head/glasses/and today my lip. im wondering if im not holding tight enough, maybe my wrists arent strong enough, i have no idea. any suggestions on what it could be?? thanks |

Ok, lesson one of firearms trouble shooting... Try different ammo. Does the problem repeat? It sounds like you are getting inconsistent powder charges in your ammo. Or... if it's intermittent (every couple of mags) could it be fatigue related? You're arms are getting a bit tired and you limp wrist one? It happens... |

AFPLAYBOY- Be careful should you choose to try to 'tune' the extractor. In the early USP's the extractors are cast, NOT forged, and they will not take a whole lot of tuning or bending without breaking. Take the advice to let another shooter try the pistol. Take care. |
