The AAA Recoil ReducerĀ® fits all 1911 full size Government style weapons. This includes Colt, Para, Norinco, and Clones just to name a few. Installation takes less than a minute and can be done without any special tools. What makes the AAA Recoil ReducerĀ® so reliable, is that it does not activate until the empty case has left the weapon, this results in flawless feeding. The violent manner in which the slide contacts the frame is eliminated. When installed the AAA Recoil ReducerĀ® will give you 40% less felt recoil, more muzzle stability, and less action noise. All the benefits we just mentioned while extending the service life of your weapon. Anyone used/using one of these or a similar device? Any opinions, feedback? Change your spring weight or loads? www.aaa-ammo.com/buffer.htm |

I have a Harrts recoil rod in my 1911 Govt .45acp & like it. I have also heard that they have since gone out of business, but I don't know? IMO, it's bullshit on the 40% recoil reduction. If it were this huge a reduction, then mfgrs would be buying & using this system. Pure marketing bullshit, IMO. As for "less action noise", they think a slide will sound louder than the 110dB or so of a .45acp rd going off? ![]() You'd be better off spending your same $$$ on having a premium barrel installed in your 1911.
