I am mainly into 9mm but like to have a secondary caliber handgun as back up.
Right now that is a Springfield XD in 40. My buddy has a Glock 30s and is interested in trading. Should I get the 45 instead of the 40. I shoot the XD good and like the gun. The 30s would be a nice compliment to my G19. |

Personally I am not a fan of the 30. I love Glocks, especially my trusty 21 but I hate the magazine grip. If they made a 30 with a 19 grip size I'd be all over it.
Yes I'm aware it's basically the same size, I owned one at one point, just don't like that my pinky has to be on the magazine. Just personal preference. I would make that trade though because I can't stand XDs. |

The factory trigger is much better IMHO. Unless you really want a 45 I would stick to the XD. The Glock 30 is worth more than the XD. I would do it if you want to get it. If you decide to sell you will have more cash to get something else |
