I just finished up with my FAL and AK-74 project and am now in the mood for something different. I'm thinking a pistol might be a fun project, but the only two that I know of that parts are availabe in the form of a kit or in sufficient number to make building a realistic option are the 1911 and the Hipower. The only problem is that I have both of these pistols already and don't want to have duplicates in my collection right now. Tannery Shop had imitation SIG 228 kits and frames for a while, but I heard that the Dlask parts were of questionable quality and it is a moot point because I don't have the tools or knowledge needed to complete a 80% frame. Does anyone know of any pistols that I have missed that can be built from parts availabe on the market or from a kit?
