Gentleman,
I have a question about the blue label program. There is a shop local to me that claims to be a blue label dealer. The prices on their "Blue Label" pistols is anywhere from 450-475. This doesn't seem right to me. In Atlanta at Smyrna Police Supply they do gen4s with 3 mags for 399 before tax. I was under the assumption that dealers couldn't sell blue label guns for more than what glock sets the price at. Can some give me some clarification on this? I read the blue label page on the glock website and couldn't find any info pertaining to this matter. |
| It was a shocker to me because ive never seen a blue label gun that high. I need a definite answer. Unfortunately the Smyrna Police Distributors page is down for construction but im 100% positive that they are still selling them for 399. if its true that they cant sell blue label guns for more than what they get them from for glock then I would like to report him to glock. Ill blue falcon the shit out of that shop |
| I may be incorrect, but here in Ohio I believe there are Glock Distributors and Glock Dealers. I don't remember which is which, but I believe the Distributors honor the true Blue Label price of $399 ($425 after tax) for G17/19/26 and the .40 and .357 models. G34/35 are a bit more expensive, same with any of the .45 and 10mm models. However, the Dealers just give a discount for Blue Label, so for G17/19/26 and the .40 and .357 models they ask anywhere from $425-$450 plus tax. |

My local Blue label sold for 425. The Dist in Va. sold to me for 398 Glock says they can mark up if need be allegedly. |

For example Glock 17, 19, 22, 23...
Gen 3 are $399 Gen 3 with ported barrel are $423 Gen 4 are $399 Some of the other ones, like 34, have vastly different prices. I use these guys as my reference, because they're one of the few to publish accurate blue label prices: http://www.vanceoutdoors.com/ |

Yep, 2 different levels of distribution. In NC, there is only one Glock Blue Label Distributor, but there are MANY Blue Label Dealers. You just have to decide if it's worth the price to drive to Lexington, NC to save $45-50 most of the time.
$398.20 used to be the base price for 9, 40 and 357 Sig with regular sights. Blue Label Dealers ask about $425-440 from what I've seen. The one I buy from only marks up $25. |
|
Yep, that's what I paid for my G19 Gen4. |

I've never seen Gen4's for $399 only Gen 3's. Gen 4's run about $450 in my area last I checked. Wow, that's high. At the shop I used to work at, we sold Gen4 Blue Label 17/22/19/24/26/27 for $389 + tax. Thats the going rate here in DFW for BL Glocks. I think actual Glock pricing, or Blue Label pricing from distributors such as GT is even cheaper. |

**Prices May Vary and are not set by GLOCK. Most pricing will be 75-100.00 off the retail price depending on the model. *** |

My goodness, two pages and no straight answers. The $398 price (for a G19, for example) is from sub-distributors. $425 is the standard price for blue-label dealers. Sub-D's can sell them for less. Blue label dealer cost is $380 last I remember. I'm not sure you are giving a straight answer, either. Anybody that qualifies for the program and pays $425+ tax for a Blue Label G19 is getting the shaft. The shop I work at is a regular BL dealer and we sell them for $399+ tax for a standard BL G19, which comes out to around $425 after tax. Is that what you meant ($425 after tax)? |

True "blue label" pricing is $398.20, then your dealer sets the price you pay, which in many cases happens to be $425.00 (dealer wants to make a profit) You can go to GT Distributing and pick up a Blue Label 9/40/357 frame Glock for $398.20 all day long There is your straight answer |

Same things with Ed's. Anyhow, for the Midwest, direct fron Glock is the ticket. |

^Called out a local dealer about this a few weeks ago. He said that was the best place around. the other shop begged to differ. I cant stand people trying to pull a fast one on individuals. If I had to I would just drive to the distributor. Why don't you just request the price sheet directly from Glock? The link was a few posts up. Blue label dealers are not required to sell at specific prices, but if you go direct through Glock you'll get the best deal possible. |

Ok, So the distro sells for 399. The dealer sells for a little extra. I got it now. So by all technicality the shop in question isn't in the wrong i know this place is good to go https://www.edspublicsafety.com/individual-officer-sales/ they wont dick you around. |

No. Im going home for thanksgiving and buying one from the police distributor at adventure outdoors. 389.99. These dealers that want 450 can go back to the crack pipe. They aint getting profit from me. On regular guns, fine. On discounted for .mil/LE, no. |

Yep, that is what I paid at their Dallas store for my last Glock purchase. They also installed the Glock night sights for an additional $57.00. I was also pleased as well that they they had the (-) connector on the shelf too. Very nice store. |
| $425 plus tax for the G17, $390 for G43 at store I frequent here in Pine Level, NC. Another store I frequent wouldn't honor me under the blue label (911 operator and former military) but one I buy from called Glock and guy said have to call me to give police/fire/ems so I counted in first responders cause I'm first person you talk to |
