| Hi fellas! I just bought a Sig P229 a month or so back and after about 150 Rds. its starting to show wear on the lower receiver slide rails. The wear is about 1.5-2 inches from the end of the slide on the upper portion of, outer side of the rail. Its mostly just adonizing scrapping off but I can tell that it has cut into the aloy just a tad too, which is what actually bothers me a little. I know adonizing scratches of but is this normal? Will the wear be self limiting after awhile? I'm like what in the hell???? My 220 shows no wear like that even after about 250 rds. Your guys insights would be greatly appreciated. Thanks! |
