| Went to the range today and a friend brought his Tec 9 out. He had never shot it before so i gave it a shot. Put the magazine in, pulled the charging handle, let go and it fired. No finger on the trigger. After that, I pulled the trigger and it burst fired. What is going on with this pos? Any info is appreciated, especially if you have experience with the pistol |

Make sure the firing pin isn't stuck or welded in place (seen it done before). Check all of the fire control parts against a picture of what they should look like, it's possible someone did a home trigger job and messed up the sear, trigger, etc.
Be very careful , folks have been convicted for malfunctioning guns. |

Yep, this^^^^^^ Sounds like a Bubba Smith trigger job or select fire mod to me, would be a popular carry choice in the hood or trailerpark. Was the purchase made through an FFL who verified the background and functionality? Pretty sure an FFL can't legally sell an altered gun if that was the case............... |
