Not a lot of reviews on this sucker out there so I figured I'd give it a shot.   I've been pleasantly surprised.   It's got some cons for sure but overall was reliable and I liked the feature set it offers.

Pros:
-Thicker steel hood vs. the old DeltaPoint (which I cracked)
-2.5 dot or 7.5 MOA triangle reticle option
-No need to re-zero after changing battery
-1 MOA adjustments that click for each adjustment made
-auto-adjusting brightness WITH the option to set it manually
-auto shut off after 5 mins of inactivity
-Lots of mounting options (AR height, 1913 rail, rear sight replacement, etc...

Cons:
-unknown battery life
-high body limits sight options
-Currently not compatible with M&P CORE pistols

I have mine mounted on one of my AR's, but the dp pro is my new favorite rds. Compared against my past optics(MRO, AP pro and T1, mepro tru dot), I think Leupold did a fantastic job with this one.

For rifles?

I use the adm tr QD mount(they show it being made for the bushnell trs on their site) and the leupold cross slot mount. It gives you somewhere between co-witness and lower third.

Allegedly dedicated mounts are being made, but they're a little slow to market
