I recently got a Kel-Tec P-11, and have been having a hell of a time blasting steel plates with some Winchester white-box.

The only problem is, the magazine catch is kind of finicky. I have to push in the magazine at sort of an angle, jiggle it around a bit, and tap it before I hear the distinctive "click" of the magazine catch. If I forget to do this, the gun will usually jam.

Anybody have this happen? Should I try getting a new magazine? I've been thinking of using this as my carry gun when I get a concealed carry permit, but the jams and magazine problems have put it in doubt.

Do a standard Kel-Tec fluff and buff. I would try another magazine. My P11 is 100% reliable after a fluff and buff and proper lubing.

Fluff and buff? What would that entail?

I'll search around for another magazine in a weekend or two. *Hopes*
