I want to put a weapons light on a 4" XD 45 and no nothing about them, it seems the more I research the more confused I become.
Will the TRL 1s fit the rail on this gun? Is it considered a good light? (It will be used for a night stand gun).

I like my TLR-1S on my 1911.
It will stick out a little past the barrel, but that's ok.

Yes, it should fit. You may need to change the rail key insert, no biggie.

TLR is one of the most popular and probably one of the most sold weapon lights. Streamlight is great product I have had many of their flashlights and the TLR1 great quality product that does not break the bank.
