My buddy just got that exact Sig and it seems like a pretty nice pistol for the price point. I like how Sig throws in a holster too. I know it has won a major military service contract which is a plus IMO. The Beretta 92 is a decent pistol but I have no experience with the px4. The FNX seems decent but the mag availability and a few stories I've heard about FN customer service scare me a little bit. If I was buying a CZ pistol it would be a CZ75 SA but I'd probably take that CZ second to the Sig. Again just my opinion. Overall I have little experience with this grouping. |

Quoted: I like the CZ the best. To the poster above, I'd recommend the CZ Combat or other models lacking the FP block. Ask me how I know that the regular SA has a pull no better than a normal DA CZ75 in SA mode. It would be my first CZ, I have a Hi Power for my 9mm SAO. |

CZ-75 That way when you get over your bizarre desire to carry DA/SA you can carry cocked and locked like a normal person. I have nothing against cocked and locked, carried a 1911 for some time. currently carry a glock and have no issues with strikerfired guns either. I have just always liked DA/SA guns. |

I've owned & carried both the PX4 Compact & SP2022. PX4 needed mods (conversion to G-style decock-only, Talon grip tape, probably stealth levers if I'd kept it), couldn't take a full-size handgun light and had a shorter bbl & inferior trigger compared to the SP2022.
For me the SP2022 was gtg right out of the box. If I was to go back to DA/SA (carrying the SIG P320 Compact nowadays), the SP2022 would be at the top of the list. Tomac |
| I'd probably go with a HK P2000 for a carry gun DA/SA personally. That or maybe a Sig P228 or P229, but it's a tad heavy. I also love my Beretta 92FS, but it's a little big for carry, maybe the compact model. The CZ's are growing in popularity. But yeah basically you have Sig, HK, Beretta, CZ. |

From your list I can easily narrow it down to the SIG (classic DA/SA guns and I love my 226) or the P07 (again very classic and great ergos). Either would be a great choice. +1. The ergos on the Sig work a bit better for me though. The 2022 and P07 are also two of the most accurate 9mm's I've shot. |

Out of your choices, probably the Sig, though I do like CZs, but have no faith in their polymer guns yet.
I also humbly submit the Walther P99 AS. DA/SA striker with decocker, great SA trigger (same as PPQ actually, but without that silly Glock trigger safety), very accurate and utterly reliable in 9mm. |

CZ P-07 vs PX4 Storm Vs FNX VS SP2022 Which one would you prefer for a mid size carry gun ? No need for a strikerfire vs DA/SA argument. I have both and know the advantages/disadvantages. just looking for something new. The SIG 2022 is a lot of gun for the money. |

Might I suggest the FNX line. The quality, price, and nice trigger won me over. The mag price and availability is also a concern of mine, but just buy a couple spares when you get the gun. The trigger on the Fnx is way underrated. It's pretty great. And I'm a trigger snob. |

I wouldn't consider the FNX a mid-size gun. It's barrel may be the same length as a Glock 19, but the grip is full size. The single action trigger is very nice out of the box, but lack of aftermarket support and a heavy double action trigger sucks. The Beretta is an interesting design, and would be a good gun if you liked the feel and features. The Sig sp2022 is a real hidden gem of a gun. It's downside is the single model line magazines (only SigPro guns use the mags), and I don't like the mag release. The CZ P07 is an awesome gun. Lot's of aftermarket products, sights, holsters, etc., but for me that comes after having a good gun. I am very impressed with the trigger in both DA and SA, and the gun is very ergonomic and shoots flat. The slide cuts are a little aggressive and out of the box the recoil spring is really stiff, and there is very little slide real estate to grab onto because of the design. The feel of the slide might put people off at first, but don't let it get to you. |

The FNX, Sig, and CZ are all excellent. If you can handle a CZ P01 though...that will be what you get. Of your options listed I'd have a hard time passing on the P07, it should be the least expensive considerably. If all three where between 500 and 600, I'd get the FNX. |

I was surprised to find out that the 2022 is issued as an actual police and military sidearm worldwide. I had this conception that it was developed as a budget model that specifically targeted lower income folks who couldn't/wouldn't pay anything over 500 for a pistol. It can be had for under 400 bucks and I think with night sights. THAT is one hell of a deal! I find the trigger out of the box a little better than the regular P series guns too.
I gave the CZ polymer guns a good hard look but in the end it was the aesthetics that put me off. Trivial maybe but I'm an enthusiasts, looks be important! Can't speak about the others but I've heard nothing but good things about them. The PX4 has a rotating barrel like in their older Cougar guns which I find pretty neat, good luck suppressing it though if that's ever a consideration. You can't go wrong with any of them but I put the SIG, CZ at the top of the list. |

CZ P-07 and the Beretta are both excellent.
I have an FNX 45 Tactical - it is great, but new to me, so... I've shot the SP2022. Fine, no problem, but the others appeal to me more. You've got a great list of guns that shoot great. Go for the one that feels and looks best to you. |
