Do any of you have any experience with this pistol? Is it any good? Tell me about it. I've no experience with Kimber, certainly none with this pistol but it looks nice. I've heard Kimber's quality has slipped since their early days. Is that true and is it manifest in this pistol? I am thinking .45 ACP is the proper caliber, what do you think about that choice? |

My most recent purchase was as Compact CDP II. Great slide to frame fit, I've only experienced one failure to feed and a stovepipe, other than that it functions great. Out of the box, the first magazine I put through it was a very decent COM grouping. I know this isn't the exact model you're looking at, but closest to it. No flaws in quality IMO. |
