My Mk3 is not accurate at all. I usually shoot it at 7 yds and accuracy sucks. Like 4 inch groups offhand at 7 yards. I dont think its me because I can put 5 rounds from my Sig P226 in about a 2 inch group firing pretty quickly. What could be wrong here?

Is the barrel leaded?

Could be several different things.  Is it a new gun for you and maybe you're not use to the sight picture, trigger pull, grip angle.  Have you tried several different kinds of ammo, .22s can be picky.  How accurate is the gun off a bag or when shot by a friend?  Is the barrel clean?

Plus two inches at seven yards with your sig is a large group at that distance - one hole groups so close should be the norm. Shooting at such close ranges can cover up a lot of fundamental technique errors. I do however second the motion of try different ammo- stay away from bulk pack crap and use some true target grade standard velocity stuff and see what happens- also another shooter is a great idea

Give it a good cleaning, make sure the sights aren't loose, and try some different ammo.  If that doesn't work, let someone (who you know can shoot fairly well) shoot it.  It should be capable of MUCH better than 4" at 7 yards.

It should easily be capable of four inches at twenty five yards! There is something wrong with you the gun or ammo for sure

I am fairly new to shooting handguns(been shooting rifles for years) but what confuses me is that i shoot centerfire better than rimfire. I might give it a good cleaning when I get home.
