I am looking at selling my xd .40 service model. What would be a good asking price. This would include 8, 12 round mags, and 1, 10 round mag. The gun is 85% or better

Heck the mags are almost worth what the gun is worth.
My guess would be $425/450 on the gun with a mag or 2 (my rationale there is the condition - you say 85% + the .40 cal which is the least popular of the big 3 (not for me as I have a G23) + the XD has been upgraded with the XdM and XdS). Call it $25/30 per mag (sure some people are asking more but you are trying to sell the gun).. So i'm thinking 7 mags times $30 gives us $210 + $425 puts me at $635. I'll round up to $650 which means I would ask $690 and give myself some room to come down. Start there and work my way to a selling point. If I didnt have a bite in a couple of days, I'd come down a little gradually. |
