So i've been trying to get some 30 mauser that was rolled in this century and finally got 2 boxes to shoot.

It is pricey compared to the 7.62x25 but I think it is a better match for the gun as the velocities seen a little lower.  I think the bullet gets to use the rifling better and shoots better.

I have shoot 7.63 mauser in all 3 of my torkarev's and it is softer shooting but if you want
some more trigger time just buy a a conversion 9MM barrel.
? is ammo more expensive up your way?

That would be cool to have.  I wonder if anyone make a 9mm conversion barrel?  I like the 7.63 so I can get a brass collection and roll some of my own loads.    The 30 mauser is expensive too expensive to shoot but sometimes we get surplus 7.62 x25 its just really hot and I wanted to try it.

China and Yugoslavia both made 9mm barrels for the TT-33's.

I bought a Norinco 213 9mm barrel off Gunbroker and it fits and functions in my Romanian TT great.

It'll be hard to find now with the current craziness (is that happening in Canada too?  Maybe you'll have an easier time finding it than I will) but Starline makes new virgin 7.62x25 brass. Sellier & Bellot and Prvi make new production Boxer-primed loaded ammo as well.

The crazyness is a little more tempered but its harder to get some ammo than a few months ago.  I stocked up on reloading supplies so I'm good for the summer but I would like 3-4 bricks of 22 as it getting harder to find . Thanks for the tip on the brass if I can get a mold and a set of dies I'm good for life!
