I think I want to get an STI LS9 for my wife. The thing is I can not find one at any of my local shops to take a look at. What is the general opinion of this gun? My wife really likes the Springfield Micro but it is not available in 9. Thanks, Steve |

Where have you seen this? It must be new. My wife called Springfield not that long ago and they said they did not have it or plans to make it. Are you 100% sure on this? I was at the range once and the guy next to me said he had a Micro in 9 for his wife. He swore up and down that it was what he had. He got home looked at it and found out it was the Ultra not Micro. If anyone knows where I can find the Micro Compact in 9 please let me know. I have an XD and had a finsih problem with it and Springfield made it right. I am so far sold on Springfields customer service. Steve |
| Try Benton Shooters Supply in Polk Co., TN. Nice gun shop but it's sales staff are mostly good old boys, i.e. deer rifle types. On a gun like a Micro, he may have told me it was a SA but was/is a Kimber? I don't recall ever handling the 9mm version as the .45 was perfect for me. |
