I recently retired and kept my 18 year old Sig 226 duty weapon. Problem is that it's a bastardized NYPD DAO model with a horrible 12lb. trigger  Does anyone know of a good gunsmith I can send it to so it can be put back in the original configuration with decocker, etc. and a real trigger pull? It also needs to be refinished.

Bruce, owner of Grey Guns is the recognized guru on Sigs, if it's not listed at an option on his site, then a phone call to him will yield the desired result.

If you just want it put back to DA/SA then sig custom shop is always an option.

Disregard, after looking at what it would cost it would be way cheaper to just to buy a new gun.

Don't use Todd.  He is good but slow and doesn't always do the work he charges for.  I had an unfortunate experience with him and didn't get my two original triggers, two magazines and he didn't do the $150 action job on my HK.
