has anyone shot this pistol?  I saw it somewhere on the internet awhile back, supposed to be the most compact .45 on the market.  I was just wondering if anyone had heard any thing about how it handles or shoots?

Ive read reviews on it... supposed to be a good little pistol.  I want the "night hawg" ... the CCW version with night sights etc...

I handled one and it was like gripping a beer can with a 2 inch bbl.
poking out the side.

The Wathog was the most non-ergonomic pistol I've ever handled in my life.
It was rattly and felt REEAAL cheap, kinda like most Paras do to me anyways

A guy on 1911 forum still could'nt get his to run right after sending it in
to Para and Cylinder & Slide.

...why do we get a jeep when they get a tank?

Sarge, did the car just talk?  ...so somebody else controls the jeep right now, and the big gun attached to it?

IIRC, there's a review of this pistol in the new American Rifleman, or was it the latest SOF......

The bottom line selling point on those guns is a sub-compact .45, 1911 platform, that holds 10+1.

I'd be a lot more comfortable with a Kimber Ultra (any model of) with a 7+1 capacity.

It was/is the Feb 2005 issue of Soldier of Fortune, see page 70, reviewed by Gary Paul Johnston.

Sorry for the mis-direction.

Shotgun News also ran an article which got me interested in it. I found out it was the custom Desert Digital paint job that I liked. I handled one in the store and it seemed like it would be hard to control. I also had problems with the ergonomics.

I love that show, it is one of the most hilarious and original things I have ever seen. I own both seasons on DVD. Season 3 is about halfway over isn't it? I'm surprised anyone knew about this, I didn't expect that from here.

I handled one at the last gun show.  When I picked it up it just felt very awkward in my hand and everything rattled on it.  The grip safety, the slide, the magazine.  It just didnt feel right from all aspects.  So I got a Kimber Ultra Tactical and 3 Wilson mags.  Wow, I think this might be my favorite gun ever.   It has been 100% reliable and a blast to shoot.  I almost hate to carry it though b/c it is so good looking and do't want to ruin the finish.
